Are They?
The Pictures below are pretty incredible; but these are not paranormal by no means.
I created these pictures to show you how certain elements can create a "false-positive"
paranormal photo.

Camera Strap ~

Pretty neat effects camera straps
can produce.
To keep this from happening I always
remove my strap completely until the
investigation is over with. If
you don't want to remove your strap,
put it around your wrist.

Hair ~

These two pictures are what a
strand or strands of hair can
produce false positives.
To keep this effect from
happening always tie hair back. |

Moisture ~

Moisture and dust will cause
false-positive photos of orbs.
This is why it is imperative to
check the
environment. If humidity
levels are extremely high then
pictures should be out of the
question.
This picture was taken when the
humidity level outside was at
100%.
To keep from dust getting in
photos be sure wind levels are
very low to none. If the
area is dirt covered,
take pictures after cars and/or
walking has ceased in that area
before taking pictures. |

Cigarette Smoke ~

Cigarette Smoke can produce
pictures of mist and ectoplasm.
Again another false-positive.
Never smoke while doing an
investigation. If a break
is needed move away from the
investigation
area and let other people know
that you are taking a break and
that cigarette smoke will be in
the air.
