Our Mission:
Our goal is to gather and collate data that will lead to a better understanding of ghosts and hauntings.
In the process of pursuing that goal, we also wish to aid any individuals having problems dealing with or understanding a situation. We hope to do this by educating them as to the true nature of their situation and giving them the information and understanding to create a livable resolution for the person and the spirit. We will also assist people who cannot live with their situations or put them in contact with trained professionals
who can assist them.
We are open minded to all theories and methods as this is still not an exact science.
Everyone in the field of super-natural research learns as they go. Hopefully, in the end, we will collect
the necessary proof and field-tested theories that are vital to bringing the subject of ghosts into the mainstream.

Hi, my name is Victoria but everyone calls me Vicki, I created Colorado Spirit Chasers after finding out people that I knew had the same interest. We started out by doing a couple small investigations and I thought it would be nice to create an informational website for people that shared the same interests. I will not call myself an expert at ghost investigations, but a seasoned veteran. Everyday I am learning something new in this field.
My interest in ghosts started when I was 8 years old. I found myself visiting the local graveyard that was across the street from my grandparents home, on a regular basis. I would find my visits to be both peaceful and intriguing. I found myself in a hypnotic trance walking to this little cemetery with books in hand. Was I being summoned by a spirit? At that time I did not know, but now that I am in my 40's I really think something or someone wanted my company. I never saw a ghost while visiting that little cemetery. My first encounter with a ghost would be 11 years down the road. I was 19 years old when my first experience happened.
My great grandmother had shown herself to me one night. I woke up to a very bright light in my room, took me sometime to adjust to the brightness and there my great grandmother stood looking like a true angel. Why she visited me I will never know. But after seeing her led me on my quest - that spirits do walk among us.
As I got older, got married, had children my experiences of ghosts were put into an area inside my mind to remember but never talked about. Until one day on the internet I started coming across websites and message boards that talked about ghosts. I was so happy to find out people ARE talking about this and other phenomenon that I can share as well.
I decided to join a local group in Houston, Texas (where my ex-husband retired.) It felt wonderful to be able to talk openly to other people about my past experiences and to learn about investigations. This experience took me to higher levels and I decided to form a group of my own, Houston Spirit Chasers. The group did well for about two years. During that time, my marriage was dissolving quickly. After the divorce I decided to join my boyfriend in Colorado. After meeting quite a few people at my work and slowly finding out that their interest in the spirit world was just like mine, I decided it was time to stretch out the wings and put a ghost investigation group together and here we are.....Colorado Spirit Chasers.
